Last year, it had a golden color but didnt bloom much because of the long heat period, we had. Like last year, the flower is again a triple.

Thank you all! The skirts of all flowers have dropped last year. The flowers of all brugs dont look like I am used to. It is too cold.

Monika, very nice flower, and if it drops its skirts one a time will be a great sight. MY Species wouldn't drop its skirt until our weather got into the high 90s and 100s. Last night we had a thunder & Lightning, wind and rain storm. Haven't gone out yet to see if any damage. Cooled our weather down. Donna
Donna, the weather is playing crazy this year. Three days ago, we had hail and together with the storm, it has shredded many leaves to pieces. Night temperatures have been down to 35F. Its no brug weather for sure.
This one has always caught my eye! I loved the pics last summer/fall, and I still think they are beautiful. It has great form to my eyes.
I sure hope the weather straightens up for you Monika! This year has been different here also. I heard in Eastern Germany there was a tornado recently. Very odd weather for sure.
