Have Red Shrimp Plant Seeds

Jeanerette, LA(Zone 9b)

I have a small amount of seeds that I just harvested from my Red Shrimp Plant (justicia brandegeana) that I would like to trade for some Yellow Shrimp Plant seeds.
Please let me know if anyone is interested in trading.

Babs I have quite a few types of shrimp plants but have never seen them produce seeds or at least I don't know what to look for.

Don't feel bad, I just accidently discovered where the seeds were just the other day. On my red one I noticed that there were shrimp plant seedlings growing in the flower pot with this Mother plant, and discovered that when the red blooms are almost ready to fall off and really faded, that is when they start to produce seeds. If you look inside the petals of the older blooms you should see seeds in there. I had to coax them out of the bloom, but the seeds were dry and ready to be harvested. I am sure that the yellow one is basically the same because their blooms are similar to the red ones. I read in the plant data base that the yellow ones can be grown from seeds too, so they also seed. Take a good look inside the blooms, you might find seeds. PLMK.
Thanks

I'll keep watching. Need a day or 2 for things to dry out. We are getting bombarded with rain everyday.
