A new mini garden!

Birmingham, AL(Zone 8a)

I call this one California Dreamin...it has all that funky clunky garden stuff that's so "in" in the garden mags. A blue bottle tree, concrete ball, copper pipe fountain, etc.

Any Californians (or other folks) with further ideas...?

Here's another angle. I was so lucky to find the little hardware guy playing the cello at a thrift store. I think he's what makes the whole thing.

So great as is!

How about some black mondo for the flax plants we have all over here?

California can be tikki, tea house, cantina, Provencal- all at once!!

Thanks Daisy!
Would you believe I was looking for some of the really short mondo to put in? All the ones at the store were burned though. I didn't know it looked like flax though.

That's really neat, love that bottle bush tree LOL what kind of bottles did you use, and how did you do the base. That's neat. I really like the whole group.

Bottles are wood from dollhouse store online. Drilled tiny holes and stuck em on a twig. Spray painted high gloss blue. Whole thing about 5 inches.

I like the giant head. It has blue sedums growing on it now like hair. Going to do southwest one next - found tiny chimenea candle holder!

That's neat, It looks bigger than 5 in LOL that's a cool Idea.

I saw a big one posted here once,
too. was that you who had the big one, painted the same color, I can't remember who it was.

Nope not me. Only in my fantasies. Not really into the "funky" stuff cept in miniature. Course, that suitcase was pretty weird but that was bad case of F.I. - "forum influence." I am succumbing...
