Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

I still want a double purple brug....

with pink edges

anybody got one yet?

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Wow CC, you don't ask for much. do you?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

She is a beauty Tracey. A couple of years ago I tried some, but gosh, they take up so much room. I guess I didn't know how to keep them trimmed up.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

You could probably stand this one Kyle, it doesn't stink like Grandiflora, I can't stand that one, smells like dirty feet! This one has no smell that I have noticed.

Oh, great, NOW you tell me! I just traded for some cuttings of grandiflora! Everybody smells things a little bit differently, maybe it won't stink for me. The one that you posted is very pretty, which one is it?

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I think it is plum. The secret on Grandiflora is not to let it get to dry, the drier it gets the worse it stinks, it even feels greasey. I don't like that one at all, and will probably kill it. I have more pictures but don't have them downloaded yet.

Sorry Ronna, when I was in Traceys greenhouse she showed it to me,Yep Dirty Socks!!!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

It is gorgeous Tracey. Mine do not like Texas. Wonder what is wrong? the pH of the soil?

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Wow! Thats a beauty!!

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Gorgeous....yes, you sure do grow them bigger and better without a doubt. I am with Susie and think they probably do not like our soil for maybe too much heat too soon.

Whitewater, WI

Beautiful!!
I was thinking of getting the grandiflora... but "dirty feet?"....lol

Renee gave me a cutting of the red one, maybe I just stop there... :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I have blooms on my purple one today!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I had a hummer after me this morning while I was trying to water them...

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Aaaaaaaaaw, I bet that's what the little rufous was after this morning too.

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

I ordered 4 of these from Kartuz this Spring. They have not grown one iota. This has been a terrible year for plants for me. The brugs won't bloom, plants aren't growing and morning glory seeds either aren't germinating or, if they do, don't grow or bloom.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh Sylvia, what a time you are having. Is your weather a lot different this year? It seems that a lot of people are having so much rain this year. It is very unusual for us to have several rains in July, but we have and are about 7 inches above normal for the year right now. Maybe things will level out and your plants will end up doing well. My brugs will begin blooming shortly, but it seems like I have been waiting forever for blooms. I've had a bloom here and there, but I want a plant full. LOL!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Whoa now! Grandiflora smells "Like dirty feet"!?

Not my feet! Mine are constantly aerated!

Love that plant ya got there though! (Hoping hummers don't attack my dirty feet. But don't they go my pretty, not by smell?)

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

LOL,Shoe,I say day old socks,so it can't smell like your feet.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hah!...how true!

(hmm...I have some socks 'round here someplace..I remember putting them on sometime last January, third day of that snowstorm we had...).

Oh well, I still want one of them 'fragrant' plants one day!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I gotta move mine Shoe,it is getting smothered by Coleus,I will see if I can get you a snip off it.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Will send clothespin....no charge. Snip happily.

Smiling here!....!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Mini, I'm having trouble with some of my morning glories too. I was wondering if it was the weather.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tracey, one purple is doing real good, the other has yellow leaves. The one that was orange bit the dust as did the smelly sock one.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I will have to cut my to get them back in, so I will be taking cuttings this week or next, I will get one. The silly things are like brugs they get yellow leaves from being to dry. Did the burgundy make it?

San Antonio, TX(Zone 9a)

Susie, I really don't know. You would think with all the rain we had that everything would be growing gangbusters, but the only things that have grown are the weeds.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Sylvia, I have beautiful green weeds also. LOL

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tracey, yes the burgundy one is fine(at least I think it is, I will check tonight)
I have lovely green weeds too, they grow faster than my flowers!

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

I have my Iochromas in pots and they aren't doing too good right now.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Ada, I bet it's all the rain you've been having lately.

Brundidge, AL(Zone 8b)

I keep saying i am going to get some of these but just never do They are gorgeous I am definitely coming with DH again to MO so i can see them first hand
