gingers get big!!!

I didnt know they got this big!! How tall are they going to grow? Right now, they have outpaced a banana tree beside them.

I have seen some taller than 6 feet...I am only 5'3"...mmm...they like lots of moisture...

There are some at a house here, must be 8ft tall! The blooms were huge too, so pretty.
