Our only Guinea is a guard bird. He sleeps above our porch at night, if he sleeps at all, and keeps an eye on things. It takes something special to get a noise out of him. He also stays home. He sometimes gets mad at the dogs and will jump over the fence onto a dog's head and flog him quickly, then back over the fence. The dogs are now good natured about it, regarding it as play.
