My koi ate a bird yesterday! It wasn't very big but it was a bird. The birds line up on the rim of the pond to drink. I guess one got too close and the fish grabbed it-big one is almost 20 inches now. When I looked in there was only wings and stuff left and fish were fighting over it and shaking it in their mouths! Yuck! I was only kidding when I said the koi tried to eat my dog (a Newfoundland-they bit his tongue and scared him) but maybe I'd better watch the dog more carefully from now on!

I had a bull frog eat a bird last year. That was gross to see too. Yuck...... I know it's natural and all.... but still yucky to see.
