Allium

seeds...wonder if someone knows if these have to go through a cold before they will grow?????

The below link says the seed needs a warm period followed by a cold period.

I toss my Allium seeds in my garden to sprout the next year. The seedlings are small, & look a lot like onion grass. I kept pulling them out before I realized that! It takes a couple years before they are big enough to blossom.

Thanks all...I guess I will give this a try.......
