Rainy day shot of the trash seedling

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

This was taken about three weeks ago when we were having a cold/rainy spell. It was really pretty. As soon as the sun and the HEAT hit- the blooms didn't hold up. If the blooms can't take the hot weather I won't bring it in this winter.

too bad...datdog...it looks so pretty too!!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Nice blooms, long tendrils, hope it gets better and don't brown fast. Lot of things happen in different weather. Looks loaded with blooms.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Sure does! Poor little guy... he never would have had a chance if you hadn't rescued him. Look at him now!

Datdog, you can send it to my trashcan.. :) ...
wouldn't it make a nice winter bloomer though?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I hope it will adjust to the heat for you. Sure looks good in this picture.

Our weather has been so crazy. We've had days and days of rain and very cool temps. Then someone turns on the heat! Many of my brugs are suffering and getting fried.

MsCritterkeeper-I'll send it to you gladly, but you have to take Little Man (yellow nape) too. LOL.... He's currently saying over and over, 'Step up Little Man, step up.' He want's me to pick him up. I can't because my asthma is on a roll. I feel so bad for the little guy. He needs some attention.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

It is showing a nice peach on my screen,at least you gave it a little longer to live, turned out nice, too bad she does not like the heat.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

It sure looks pretty here.

I'd be honored to have Lil Man join the Zoo Crew.
He would be in very good company.
Capt Jack, Tiki and Mac could all talk each other to death.lol

Serious NEWBIE QUESTION about your beautiful Brug...
is there any reason not to breed a cold loving brug?
If it doesn't like the heat, then why not breed it to be a Fall Winter kinda gal??? Even with the scent being less in cooler temps they are still very attractive in flower.
Just a thought...
