What Dat is this?

I got the seed in a trade and the only thing it said was datura. The plant right now is about 10" high.

That's what it looks like to me. Just a word of advice.....keep the seed pods cut off except for the one you want to save (if you do) because this one is a prolific bloomer and sets lots of pods that will burst and provide you with hundreds of plants. Not only one year, but for several years. They grow like weeds. She is pretty, but I couldn't keep up with mine last year and ended up pulling it.

Brugie's right -- mine are out of control. They are huge and must be deadheaded every day. It was taking me hours each evening and I have finally given up and let them go. I know I'm gonna be pullling up babies now, for a long time to come. They are very pretty though, and I love the flowers and foliage, just not the darn deadheading! Gretchen :)

Earlier this week I cut off 20+ ripe seed heads, and since I haven't cleaned them yet, I have no idea how many I have. Will offer an SASE around the middle of July if you're interested. Gretchen
