Passion Flower

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Hi Sxgardner, Passiflora "Blue Boutique" is a P. Amethystina hybrid with a very dark center like Tim's picture in this category. Yours looks like P. Caerulea. See this link: http://www.floridata.com/ref/p/pass_cae.cfm and this link: http://plantsdatabase.com/go/1264/

Covington, LA(Zone 8b)

This is Blue Bouquet, aka Blue Boutique.

The classification entered was Passion Flower-Blue Passiflora caerulea.
Not Blue Boutique. Clare_CA thank you for the link.
Question How often does it bloom after it closes?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I moved it to its rightful home ;o)

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Terry!

Sxgardner, the entry has been corrected now. The flowers only last one day, but it should continue blooming for you through the summer and fall, depending upon what zone you are in.

In my yard caerulea is much hardier than blue bouqeut. In z8b caerulea is evergreen and starts setting buds as soon as it warms up. I have to dig bb and put it in the greenhouse. I lost the 2 I left to overwinter in the ground last year. Good thing I had a pot in the gh. I never protect caerulea.

The pot was moved into a solarium over the winter and continued to bloom and grow
extending vines over the trellis. It seems to build up energy and enjoy cool weather low 60s to 55 and now May it's taking
off with multiple buds. Boy what a hardy plant!
