What's this gonna be??

This is a pair of strange Caterpillers I came across today. I remember seeing them before some years ago. I don't know what they become, do any of you know what they are?

Do NOT touch this cat.. it is one of the stinging ones. IO caterpillar.. it does turn into a beautiful moth though.

Thanks so much, I had a feeling not to touch. I usually am cautious until I know what I am dealing with. I place them in a jar and have been observing them for there. I will release them tomorrow and give them a chance to evlove.... :o)
