Hello Gardners, from Alabama

I want to thank so many of you for welcoming me to this website. This is, without a doubt, the friendliest and niecest bunch of "blooming" people I have ever met online! I officially subscribed a few months ago and just now am making it to the Welcome Forum! I am originally from deep south MS and recently "transplated" to my dream life of living near the ocean in Foley, AL. I am an avid gardner and my Dad taught me as a toddler to appreciate the earth and all that grows forth from it, teaching me the names of plants and trees. That love of nature remains in my heart with my Daddy. I have already shared photos with all of you of some of my flowers in the PDB and photo forum. I enjoy this website and realize it is only as good as the gardners who comprise it. Thanks for being there and thanks for your help and your kind welcome. I hope I can be an asset to the site... Oh, I loved shopping in Foley, AL when our family lived in Montgomery. The ocean was our destination, of course, but you had to pass through Foley to get there. :) Welcome to Dave's Garden.

Welcome, you're gonna love it here. My guess on the "coffeeklatch" forums would start with Jokes and Chat, Parking Lot or General Discussion.
