I was just going to ask you the same thing about the wind...I live in the country and have 2 house palms on my front porch and really have to keep an eye on them.....they get really tore up if it storms and they are allowed to stay outside.....I usually bring them in.......tropic, don't yours ever get wind damage?

Hi Lynn,
Yes I have Macarthur palm,and Lady Palm,and a few others on my front porch too, and the ends look like they were ripped
to pieces and ran thru a shredder machine,just like my banananas...Winds usually slow down by end of August,and just before I bring them in for the winter new leaves appear,until next spring then we start all over again!!!
