oh no, I bought fantasia too and mine's solid red, I thought the tag showed it was a pink color like this, I think I got the wrong tag in the wrong hibiscus, but mine's pretty none the less. isn't fantasia a hardy hibiscus? the tag said it was on mine. just wondering, none the less it's beautiful, I just love hibiscus, I've started some from seed not long ago and their doing great now.

Kathy, I bought this plant from Wayside, and the blurb on their Web page said:

"Wonderfully hardy from Minnesota to Georgia, 'Fantasia' tolerates anything from cold to heat, drought to humidity, poor soil to gardener's neglect."

Is that what is considered a hardy hibiscus?

Fantasia is supposed to be lavender-pink with blue overtones.

But yep! They're ALL pretty!

hum, no blue in there is it LOL but yes that does mean it's hardy in those areas, I would think in your area too.
