Oh be still my heart. Your RK is so red. Will you tell us?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I will post a picture when the flower is open.

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

How exciting! Do you still get excited when you see blooms open Monika, even if you have already seen the bloom a hundred times?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The excitement is still there Shelley. It is part of the addiction lol!

I can't wait to see this bloom again. Still one of my favorites.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Monika, I know you must be as excited as I am. Can't wait to see that beauty open along with all the beautiful and unique ones that you have.

Kell, you need some of that pollen for your dark, dark one that just opened!

Crestview, FL(Zone 7b)

Yes... please do post a picture when it has opened and achieved its final color...

And who are the prime donors for this one going to be Monika?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

I intend to make cross pollination with RK #2. Both opened their flowers tonight. I hope that I will be able to obtain pollen because it has cooled off in the past days. Even white flowers stay green instead of turning into white color.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Just curious to find out if the pollination took. Are you referring to RK #2 as the one in the US?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The pollination did not take Nanny! RK org. had a few corns in the ovary. She is blooming right now and I will pollinate her with EP, Balao and Ecuador Rose. Rk #2 might be the US-RK.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Oh wow, those sound like very good crosses. Can't wait to see her again.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Hope you get some beauties from these crosses, Monika.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I love Monika's Rk pictures.
