Wow ! I haven't seen such a large trunk on a Crape Myrtle before! It looks similar to the trunks on some smaller Eucalyptus trees I've seen here in California. This must be quite a specimen. Nice picture, thanks Paul.

Thanks. It was a beautiful tree, they have quite a few large crepe myrtles at the Dallas Arboretum.
