This is the female of the pair of ruby-throated hummingbirds that live in my backyard. She's adorable and the male is gorgeous with the discintive ruby throat. The camera doesn't have a good zoom, I'll have to go back out and take better pictures.
I was deadheading flowers today right near the feeders and she came less than a foot away from me and cocked her head to the side to see what I was doing.
