if this is a tall beared iris it is named wrong .if japense its named right / THAIS - JAP. DOUBLE 1924 CK .LIST AMERICAN IRIS SOCIETY 1939 TO 1949

'Thais' bearded iris was introduced by Cayeaux in 1926.

I'll have to double check. It is a tall Bearded . Came from a reliable source, but you never can tell.

I was responding to Tazzy who didn't realize it was possible for a Japanese and a bearded to have the same name. Looks like Thais to me :-) Nice to see a group shot!
