Stockton, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi all you farm folks! I hope everyone is feeling well and in good spirits. I haven't been on line for quite a while, as I quit my secretarial job. (Which was where I usually did Daves Garden in my spare time.) It was just too much for me to hold down two jobs. I am working full time at my job at the Dialysis center again.

I got 25 chicks about two weeks ago. I really wanted to get some sooner, but at least now they are able to be in the coop with just a light (on the side of a box ) in case it gets a little cool for them. They are Red Sex Links, and are supposed to be one of the best layers of brown eggs. I don't know why. but I really like brown eggs.

Been working in the yard every chance I get, trying to beat the weeds back, and reclaim a portion of the garden spot. (So many weeds, so little time.) We have been blessed with rain just about every day. so at least the pulling up hasn't been difficult.

Everyone have a great day, and a great week!
Smiles from Skyeblu :)
