Does anyone have any seeds of Missouri Mable that they can share? If so can trade or do postage.
Missouri Marble datura
Got five plants here and they got blooms on them coming along..so we will see...
Oh,I know that is going to be a beautiful site! Are they planted close together or in different areas of your yard? If you get any seeds-please keep me in mind.
P.S. Are these fragrant? The beautiful leaves along makes it worth while having these plants.
All my plants are about 1 1/2 foot tall right now..I pinched the other three plant's first flowerbuds off so they can grow more leaves and blooms later...I only let two do their first flowers so I can see what they look like..I missed one of the blooms cuz I was at work!! but got this one going next in line...
It is soo pretty-hope you will have lots of seeds.
I sure want to grow this one next year.
edit-to say thank you for sharing your picture of your beautiful plant.

Can't wait to see it after it flowers.
I had them last year and couldn't tell any different in the bloom from the regular.
GA.Clay were the flowers fragrant?
Very pretty, moodene. Mine hasn't bloomed as of yet.
Has anyone saved seed from one to see if they come true from the seed? I just figured since it was variegated, it might not come back variegated from seed. Anyone???
Are the flowers fragrant???
Shirley, it is my understanding that they won't set seeds. But, I have one now that looks like it is going to. I have also heard that the seeds won't come true. Can't remember where I heard/read it.....but if I get seeds I'm sure going to try them. I thought Missouri Marble was all tissue cultured.
christmascactus, mine are not fragrant that I've noticed. I will stick my nose on one of the next blooms and let you know. The blooms do look the same, it's just the foliage that makes it so pretty.
Yes,I think the foliage is so pretty,it's worth growing just for that. If they don't set seeds or come true from the seeds-do you take cuttings-if so-if you have an extra cutting please save one for me.
I had a plant a couple of years ago and it didn't set seeds. In fact, it didn't do much of anything. I probably didn't have a total of six blooms on it all summer. I'm trying it again this year and will let you know if it does anything. So far, it isn't growing well.
Brugie, try some of that alfalfa meal or alfalfa tea everyone is talking about & see if that will help.
I haven't gotten around trying it myself but do plan on trying it out to see what it will do for my plants. If you try it-please let me know your results.
I used to have taught it will be soft light blue but it is not true so it is all white so it smell so wonderful and if anyone you have seeds would like to have just few seed at least 2. So I will pay the postage....Thanks~
