I bought some of these bulbs at Lowe's last night. I think they are beautiful. Potemup... can you give me an idea how tall they are? I see in the plant file it says up to 18 inches. How long is the bloom itself? How long do they bloom for you? I like the way the foilage looks, so I'm thinking it can be in "front" of a bed, for it looks like it would be pleasing even out of bloom.

The bloom is about 6 inches. Since this is outside your zone, you might consider putting them in a container. Since they are relatively small, I would put them in the front of a bed.
