Aloe growing a a pot, needs dusting
Aloe Vera, Medicinal Aloe, Savila (Aloe barbadensis)
Hi Capt.
I love this aloe vera. It this the medical kind and do you use it? Hey, I found you here!! Good talking to you.
It's the medicinal kind. It's great, I use it every once in a while. I can't say I've noticed it moisturizing skin but I like to peel off the flat layer off the jelly inside and stick it in the frigerator and use it on sun burn.
some of my aloe vera leaves fell thin at the bottom i keep it watered what am i doing wrong
They don't like drastic temperature changes. Since you live is MS, you probably keep yours indoors during the winter. I'd adivise you to keep them in the same place year round. Mine are in a moderately sunny window, temps at about 72 degrees f.
DO NOT over water. I water sparingly (with just plain water), probably less than once every two weeks. And when I do water, I usually give it alot of water. Aloe is a succulent, which means they store water in their leaves and do not like to be watered often.
thanks for the info i have had it for a long time i dont want to lose it thanks again.
Hi Capt, you say in the original plant it needs dusting. Do you refer to the bluish bloom on the leaves, as this is normal for suculents. It acts as a sun barrier.
I didn't mean that, my house gets very dusty for some reason and there's just a layer of actual dust on it.
