Bolero on a hot day

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

This is Boleros first flower for 2004. She has normally 3 - 5 skirts and the flowers are larger but a cold weather period had stopped the development of the buds. But she has color, due to the fact, that the past days were very warm and very humid.

Love it, Love it! The Azalea is amazing! The color is so jump out and get you.

Is Bolero yellow or peachy undertoned? This has always been one of my favorites in your pictures. The wind is whipping everything here, so I am really enjoying the fact that you have something pretty to look at. Mine are tattered and torn.

Thank you all! Tracey, Bolero has a peachy tone. Due to the high humidity of the past days, it also got a yellow touch.

I have a question? Is there also a brug called "Baby Bolero"

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

That does sound familiar.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Yes. Baby Bolero is out of the same cross. The flower is smaller and the leaves are different.

allegra is testing Baby Bolero for me in her climate. I noticed, that the flowers are larger in warm summers. The skirts drop also much better.
