This is my Species brug tonight, had to bring it up and prop on branches as it was hanging down behind leaves. Donna

CC It bloomed for me in the GH last winter and then the skirts dropped, this is the first bloom outside and no dropping skirts yet.

Thanks for nice words. Donna

very pretty. I still have not gotten a good species bloom.

I have a species - but it doesn't look like yours. It has longer blossoms, and doesn't fan out as squarely. This was my first brug - are there variations with them? Mine is just now taking off with the warmer weather, so I cannot provide a picture yet. I also don't know what is meant by the dropping of the skirts - care to explain to a fairly new brug owner?

Just beautiful Donna! I hope you will post more pics, I have one and can't wait for the blooms!

I would love to have a white brug that looked like that! Almost a creamy delicious meringue you could eat!

Thank you for all the kind words. I bought it from Logees as Shredded White but when i posted a photo last year DG people thought it was Species, maybe it is something else. IThe skirt is somewhat dropped today. Donna

The plot thickens... I got mine at Logee's too! Can you post a picture of this with the skirt dropped? Now I have to wait until mine blossoms so I can remember what it looks like!
