Who wanted rose campion seeds?

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 9b)

I think this came up somewhere...
I pulled most of them before they set seed, but there are a few plants in the back of the front area that are ready to dispense them everywhere and if I'm gonna be able to walk around the other beds next year, I gotta bag 'em up soon.

Lynchis coronaria -- it is the magenta one similar to this pic by Azalea.

PDB has it as a perennial, but I believe it to be a self-re-seeding biennial... depending on where you are, though, if you plant the seeds this summer you may have flowers next year.

Paghat says it prefers well-drained limey soil which would explain why it is so happy in our adobe clay but without any significant watering... it volunteers outside any improved beds more than in them!

'spin!
I would love to have some! My soil is more on the acid side, but maybe they can adapt. LMK if you have extra seed!

Hi all,
Terry moved this offer (from *plant* trades, silly me)... I think that means it never was on top of the list on this forum and in case there are those who only scan down until they come to one they have read, I'm bumping it up a page or so.

Going out to pick these seeds now!

In response to your e-mail .... I'm here in the list!

Do you think I could get a few seeds? Is this a trade or SASE?

Just my contribution to the Garden Karma fund! Pass it on when you have the chance!

E-mail me your addy or let me know it's in the file! Gotta get mine in there too.

I have rose campion seeds, too, for a SASE if anyone needs some.
