My 16 YO daughter wants to save up for a car (Jeep Wrangler). She's lifeguarding this summer and doing quite well. This question is for extra income for her. A lady lives a couple of miles from us and for the last 2 years has sold unnamed rooted brug cuttings for $10 each in the spring. I saw her last weekend and she said she sold 200 this year! She has white, pink, and yellow. I believe her because I went by her house during one of her plant sales and asked her if she had any named varieties (she didn't) and the place was packed!
Elena (dd) remembered my keeping rooted brugs alive this past winter and decided she could do it, too. Fine with me. I figure we can sell named varieties for $10 each and unnamed for $6. Here is what we have: Dr. Seuss, Charles Grimaldi, Ecquador Pink, unnamed white, unnamed peach, Sunray, and Orange Verisicolor. Can someone give me a suggestion for another one I could try and trade for to offer a great selection?
Thanks bunches! Sorry to be so long winded.
Edited to say, I have only one of the brugs mentioned here. I'll be glad to send a cutting to anyone here once they get large enough. I do apologize for any misunderstanding.
This thread isn't to actually trade plants, but if anyone is interested, here are some of the plants I have to trade now are:
Chinese Foxgloves
named hostas
named daylilies (one is Andrew's Love)
hellebores
celandene poppy
variegated Solomon Seal
False Solomon Seal
pink yarrow
cleome
Archangel Lamium

Do We Have a Good Variety?
I would love to trade for Ecquador pink and sunray. Here is my list. Some are not rooted but that can be fixed.

No opinions on what we need to get? :(
Pins, do try and get Butterfly, I just love it!
And I'd try and get Cypress Gardens or Golden Lady (for a small brug), and I hear Species (double) does great in our heat & humidity too (mine hasn't bloomed yet). Do you have a Suaveolens? My S. Pink bloomed non-stop last summer.
Good Luck to Elena!
Gosh pins! I think you have a great selection there!
I dont have a frosty pink, but from what I see and hear on here, the scent is wonderful, and like Vi said, non-stop.
