well in a previous house we had it by the front door and it never invaded a thing - quietly sat there and was always
looked really nice. Trouble is my sister called it "snow on the mountain" so it took a long time because I kept trying to buy some but what they trotted out was not the stuff

I figured if it can live under trees it cannot be all bad

Funny…I was looking through the ground cover selection at Blue Stone Perennials (http://www.bluestoneperennials.com) and saw Bishops Weed listed at the same time I saw your post. It is listed under the scientific name of "Aegopodium Variegata". Is that what you are looking for?

snow on the mountain is the variegated form of bishops weed - not as invasive

Thanks for the link - exactly what I was after.

Snow on the mountain is a different species altogether to my
understanding - just search Dave's Garden to see the various debates. The plant database has a completely different plant as snow on the mountain......but yes they are both variegated.

I am learning only shop for latin names otherwise there is not telling what you will get.

(Zone 4a)

Aegopodium variegata.
