The flowers are very beautiful, even if they're kind of simple. I love the rosey color. I have three plants that I'm training to grow in a spiral around each other. Here in zone 7, I have to over winter in the house and keep potted, I don't think I'll see flowers.

I also have seed - however flowers are white. Sometimes called Lawsonia alba which is a synonym of Lawsonia inermis. Palmbob's photo of red flower form sometimes called Lawsonia rosea (rubra) which are both inermis synonyms. My location Australia (Queensland).
