Help with transplanting please!

I got a rather late start, but I have some Cannas and Dwarf Dahlias in pots. When can I/should I transplant to the garden?

I do not know about the dahlias, but you can transplant the cannas anytime now. I successfully transplant cannas almost year round.

How tall are the Dahlias....if they are in pots, then it more than likely are small type Dahlias and those you can carefully take out of the pot and plant at the same depth in the garden. Water well for a while to make the roots take hold.
