I will trade Magus Echinecea and a variety of shasta seeds or plants for these.
Echinecea Razzamataz & Shasta Highland White Dreams
gloriag, I don't think you'll find anyone with seeds from Razzmatazz. It's a hybrid, so even if someone offers you seeds, they probably won't grow up to be anything like the parent plant. (You might get something interesting, but then again, you might get some ugly mutts.)
I'm guessing in a few more years, it'll be a fairly inexpensive plant for us to purchase from our favorite garden center or someplace like Bluestone Perennials ;o) (Wayside can't squeeze people for $20 forever!)
Thanks,Terry, I did not have my heart set on it, but I thought it would be fun to try. Actually, I am in the unenviable position of having just about run out of room. I have my own seedlings coming out of my ears!
A garden web friend and I are collecting and buying all the seeds of all the varieties we can find of Shasta daisies. We should have quite a collection by next spring. I just love all this seed trading because the nicest people seem to be gardeners.
what a special thought.. I have some dasies that were in a boquet given to me at my sons senior band banquet and not only am pressing a few flowers in our album.... but adding some seeds tucked in a zip loc bag so someday he can grow them again.
this is what I think is so special also along with all the yes.... way special people here on DAVES and growing seeds that have come from friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
