If I didn't like you, your pictures would really tick me off! LOL I almost paid $15 for one of the green and white striped canna today (is it Tropicanna?) then decided to get the dirt like I was supposed to. :) Then I ran to my car!!!

Very pretty picture, Lisa. You've got two green thumbs. Hey, how is your Passiflora Amethystina doing? I hope it didn't suffer any transplant/transport shock. Is it growing a new leader yet? This is what it looks like:

It is just starting to leaf out. Hasnt put out a leader yet, but does look healthy. I am babying it utill it gets a little bigger. The brugs are putting out new leaves and will go into the garden soon.

Shoot, Tropicanna is the red leaved one. I always mix that one up. LOL

Bedseed, it is probably a bengal tiger.

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Beautiful tropical! Do they look like that all year?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Oh good, Lisa. It is a good grower so it should add nicely to your jungle!

My jungle isn't as nice as yours, but it is coming along. Does this look like Tropicanna to you or red-striped canna? I grew it from seed that Antoinette sent me, but I mixed them up when I planted them.

Trunnels, no I am afraid not. We have winters here in North Florida. Clare, your jungle is fabulous. That does not look like tropicanna to me. Doesnt tropicanna have more orange in the leaves?

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Lisa, my mistake. Antoinette sent me Intrigue, red-striped Canna, and Robert Kemp, so it must be red-striped canna? I guess it could be a hybrid too right? I don't know much about cannas but will do some research. Thanks!

Edited to say: I can see that I have Intrigue in the back because of its pointed leaves, so I'm unsure about the name of this one. Perhaps it is a hybrid?

The red-leaved one is about to flower so we'll see what color it turns out to be.

I think this one pictured below is a Robert Kemp hybrid:
