Hey! That's my LAWN. LOL.

This stuff keeps me busy and out of trouble while trying to pull it up.

At least it is green. LOL

That's true! :o)

This is a really good picture of the Crab! Keeps me busy, too, but there have been a few times that I was almost glad to see it as it held the soil in place when some of my St Augustine froze! It sure can find the bare spots!!!

Yes, with the severe cold this winter, the crab grass was almost a welcome sight!

I had forgotten I even took that picture..now I'm trying to figure out WHERE I took it (my guess is out in the veggie patch, where the best bermudagrass and crabgrass grows!)

It's nearly as bad as Johnson grass. I once had a frame house built on piers instead of concrete and the crab grass as well as the johnson grew up between the siding and the sheeting. It was a bugger getting it out. I wonder if I'd left it would it have made good insolation ... or a bonfire????

Johnsongrass is in its own class of nasty weeds.

It grew in the greenway behind our first house, so occasionally it would crop up in the garden. A few times of trying to pull it by hand convinced me that it should only be attempted when the soil was loose (after a rain or sprinkler), and with gloves on.

Ah, Johnson grass. Another evil plant in the garden. Sure can cut your hands up when trying to pull it up.

Yep! it is a booger, but a blessing, too; a lot of it is grown in Central Texas for hay. we've bailed a bunch of it in my time and son's still bailing it. love to hate it
