My First Time

Clatskanie, OR(Zone 8a)

I just bought my first Brugmansia yesterday Saturday 6/5 at the Farmers Market, it is a "Angels Trumpet" yellow.
I think I am hooked and will have to be carefull and not become over powered with them.
Know I just need to learn how to take care of them.

Yeah I agree, betcha can't have just one.....LOl
I was going to just get a couple to spread around
the yard for a fast pretty flowered tree..... and the first one took me down when I saw pictures of someone elses blooms....
They are powerful....so beware.....

I have heard that brugs are as addictive as heroin. Too late for you my friend! I am up to 19 brugs and that still is not enough.

Welcome, Carl. Well, you've been bit by the Brug Bug. There's no hope for you now. You'll be addicted.

Here is a pic of my first. "Angels Trumpet" I seen what looked like a dark purple one that I really wanted but it was already sold and the yellow one was the only one they had left. Good as any for starters.

Welcome Carl! You are in for a treat!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Carl, if you ever see a dark purple one again....it isn't an angel trumpet, AKA Brugmansia. It would be a datura. Very petty and nice blooms in any case. I like your yellow. Does it smell good?

Clatskanie, OR(Zone 8a)

Yes Brugie, the yellow one smells delightfully good.
