Finally! My first brugie!

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7b)

Since I left my job at the theme park and started my own landscape company on April 1, I had to leave behind my pink and yellow brugie babies that I had grown from cuttings. Now, finally.................I found a plant to buy and this is the first bloom! Okay.......I need more..more..more..!! Does anyone know the name of this one?

It looks alot like the one I just got, "Angels Trumpet" yellow.
I am brand new with these and don't know much.

pancha, it looks great! good for you.

so does that mean you worked for Frontier City? I went to OU for a couple years, and my family is from OKC and I visit a lot. My aunt lives in Edmond, maybe you know her. Becki Teague. Edmond is a very nice city.

My vote is for Seuss too. You'll like it.

You know, Art.......Becky Teague does sound familiar. I've lived here all my life. What's her maiden name? I did use to work at Frontier City and White Water Bay as the landscape supervisor, but it just got to be more about running cheap labor crews and throwing good money after bad. When they got a new maintenance manager on top of that, it was just going to be a couple of really tough years that I didn't want to sacrifice for an unknown future, ya know? I'm really glad everything happened the way it did. So either Grimaldi or Suess, eh? I'm just loving this! Thanks for the input everyone!

Slade is her maiden name, she's my father's sister.

I understand about not wanting to invest in a questionable future- sounds like you made the right decision and I'm glad that it's working out for you.

If I'm not mistaken, I think the difference between Dr. Suess and CG is leaf serration. Those who really know, correct me if I'm wrong :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

On young growth on CG the leaves can be serrated if I recall correctly. So could be CG. Looking great though. Hope your new business is a huge success!

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7b)

Okay, here'a a shot I just took of the leaves. They are sharply lobed somewhat, but I wouldn't call this serration, or would you guys?

Because of the color, I'd say CG, but those two are really hard to tell apart.
