Is this the beginning

Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

of a pod? I dont know exactly what to look for, but after I pollinated a couple flowers, one flower fell completely off, but this flower seemed to hang on a bit longer, of course all dried up. I got anxious, and gently pulled on the dried flower, and it just slid right off.
Now wouldnt that just be somthing.

It's too early to say if this one make a pod. I have several look like yours, they fell off.

I did the same thing last week. I pollinated several flowers.. but only two took and still hanging and the pod is growing almost 1 inch long! Most of other have fall off. :o( I have to keep trying until they take the pollen!

In a week, you will know Shelley. Dont touch it with the fingers as long as it is small. They are very sensitive.
