This is my first year to try and grow brugs, and I am hooked. Mine has over 50 blooms on it, and it is gorgeous. The place where I bought it didn't know it's name, but it's white and magnificent to me. My question is, do all brugs need to be staked. I have mine in a giant pot-, but the plant is huge-maybe 5 feet across and 5 feet tall, and it's only June!! I know you can cut some of the limbs off, but I can't bear to do that when they're covered in buds. I'm thinking it might be good to put a strong stake in the pot, and tie some of the limbs to it. We get horrendous storms and wind in TN, and it's
fortunate it's not broken already. Any advice??

I have all of my tall ones staked. Go ahead, it may save lots of your plant.
