Maybe once I vent , I'll feel better , but right now , I want to learn cat-speak so I can scream at both of my cats .
2 year old female Furball has to visit the vet tomorrow. Not for shots, not for even being sick. Instead, I have to take her so someone can help me hold her down while her rear end and back of both hips are shaved. Fleas? No.... Ticks? No .... Furball has mats the size of silver dollars on her back hips, because she tries to bite me every time I try to brush her there. I can brush her head, her back, and her front end real easy. But any time I try to brush her belly or her back end, she snaps.
1 year old male Hobbs has become a cord-chewer. He has now chewed through three phone cords - all attached to answering machines, and all the permanent one that can't be replaced easily. I've sprayed with nature's miracle repellant, and I've sprayed with hartz "training aid". Neither work. I had one answering machine cord mended, but apparently it was chewed again, as the machine didn't pick up a couple minutes ago. Last evening, Hobbs spent about 5 minutes with me in front of the tv, curled up, purring like a baby. About 5 times during the night he woke me up, swatting at those phone cords (and obviously chewing on them), knocking things off of tables in the kitchen, dining room, and living room, and trying to spread my make up and hairbrush holder all over my bedroom floor. Each time, I went out, caught him in the act, and scolded him. All for nought, because he kept doing it until he wore himself out keeping me awake.
I'm so frustrated. My puppy is so well behaved, and that's because from day one, I didn't put up with any misbehavior. I didn't think I put up with it from the cats, but obviously I've screwed up somewhere....
Sooooo frustrated!
