Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

One of literally thousands here in So Cal.. do great in zones 9a-10b. No stress.

Other, Mauritius

Could this palm grow faster in a tropical climate ?

Acton, CA(Zone 8b)

no, it grows slower to not at all in a tropical climate- it has a unique intolerance for high humidity and lack of a chill season.
