Last year was my first year of over wintering brugs that I had started from seed. They took off great however most of them are tall and spindly, with alot of new growth at the bottom. Should I cut these back so they don't have to be staked up, or will they not allow me to get flowers. Would like to see them bloom this year.
Question
I cut the spindley winter growth off because it never seems to toughen up. If the side shoots are small, leave them a little while then take cuttings when they are big enough.
