Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Good Morning Everyone.

Finally got the sheep sheared yesterday.. We loaded them and took them to "Amish Country". I love going there and seeing how they do things. This family had 10 children. The oldest all had jobs to do. The two oldest boys harnessed up two belgians to a hay wagon, went to the field and brought a load of hay back. This was loose hay, not baled. I would love to have seen how they got it on the wagon.
My farmers tan from yesterday includes one side of my face sunburned from helping hold the sheep and bagging wool.

Today I am off to work. Would rather work in the garden all day. I meant to cut lettuce this morning, but the cool breeze and fresh air where too much for me. I just sat under my walnut tree and drank coffee.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
