planting brugs

SUMMERVILLE, SC(Zone 8a)

i live in 8a and made my mind up to plant them in the yard, since we kept them in garage under grow lights for the winter. I took them out of the pots since the roots were everywhere. so do i have to keep running out there every day and pouring fertilizer on them-it is already 90 here or do you experts have a better solution? i have a double white and a dr suess they are both blooming, but the DW is slower. Also i am very interested in a pink brug-does anyone have one to trade or sell?

Generally when you take a big brug out of a pot, you would root prune it some and clean the top of the area down about an inch or so if you can and then put it in a big hole with good loose soil. You don't need to use fertilized water each time you water, just once or twice a week when they are in the ground. Plain water works well for the in between waterings.
