Ligularis passifloria

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Had to bring this seedling, back into the cool sunroom, the heat almost melted it today, and it was in the shade!
Any body grow this one?
Clare hows the one I sent you doing?

Uh, well, unfortunately, it didn't survive. I lost it a day or two after I transplanted it. It was too little to be transferred. My mistake. Yours looks great though so I'll appreciate it through you. You'll have to let me know if it is fragrant and what it smells like.

I had that up until the big move and it froze. It grew to huge proportions in a very hot greenhouse in TN, where it stayed year round.

Hey Calalilly,
It seems to just melt here in the sun,I was giving it morning sun only, when I 'd get home from work they look limp, and yet the soil was still good and moist, when I brought thwm in where it was cool they jump right back up looking good again.
Did you get it to bloom and did it have a nice fragrance?

It bloomed, can't remember if it had a fragrance. Maybe it's the sun it doesn't like. I know greenhouse covering cuts out some of the sun, so maybe that's why mine did so well.

Don, I bought Passiflora platyloba earlier this year, which is somewhat similar-looking to P. ligularis, and it is supposed to be very fragrant. I'll post pictures when it blooms.

Thanks,I'll be praying for a speedy bloom season!!!
