You have mail
LILYPON SHHHHHHH!!
LOL....I'm at work but will check my mailbox at lunch! ;)
Thanks Pati! :D
You've got mail Pati! :D
Well now, doesn't this sound cryptic! lol
Now why would you say that Liz??????? ;)
Yes, and just what is this all about?
Pati's on AOL and we're never sure if the mail goes through...sometimes it is bounced and other times we just don't know.
Pati...I just looked at an atlas...WOW are you way, way down there!!
p.s. my temps for this weekend are forecasted to be 98F (with humidex)...my Plumeria is going to be crying with happiness!! Or die of shock! :S
So is your plumeria close to blooming, will it bloom with this coming heat?
Linda
Imma hoping Pati will see this and let me know...I'm wondering if I should leave it out or put in dappled shade?!?
Here I am!! I wish there was more I could tell you about the Plumies, but most all those around here are in the ground. My neighbor, who has so many both in the ground and in containers, said I should water mine every day in this heat. He also said the soil should be well draining. Mine sit in full sun all day and seem to be thriving. At the local nursery they are all out in full sun also. I'm going to try to get back to the nursery this weekend (for Rex Begonias) and will try to get a little more info for you. My best guess is that I would try to shade them from the hottest afternoon sun until you can see how they respond.
Yes, we are WAY down here. I can't wait to see what the nursery man says when I tell him I want info for growing Plumeria in Canada! LOL Will get back to you ASAP
Pati
Edited for P.S. Why don't you post a "Plumeria question" in the Parking Lot Forum? Chances are someone would see it that are active in starting the little beauties.

Thank you so very much Patti!!!! :D I am worried because mine has been living under overcast and cool conditions for so long I wasn't sure how the hot sun would affect it after all this time. About 1/8th of the buds have turned black...not sure if it was fertilizer, staying too damp because of cool conditions, or what?!?!? I'll move it to a slightly more shaded afternoon position and will wait to see what you have heard. I would love to see that fellows face when you tell him where this Frangipani is growing! ;)
