Bleeding Heart 'Gold Heart' (Dicentra spectabilis)

Garberville, CA(Zone 9a)

That is absolutely beautiful! Do bleeding hearts need full shade? Or can they take sun?

Orrville, OH(Zone 6a)

I've been wanting this one for a couple years. It was out everywhere else but the U.S. And now that its here its kinda expensive. Where did you find one and was it reasonable?

TIA,

Marilyn

I have to confess... I photographed this plant at a local nursey. It's not mine! I'm not sure how much sun it could take. I would think the foliage might burn in bright sun but I don't know.

The plants were in gallon pots for $10. It sure is purdy :o) I think it certainly would brigten up a shady spot in the garden.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow I love it. I have never seen it before. I think I might have to find that one someplace.
