I am wondering because.. my brugs seems like the part sun and get lots of shade. THey grow well in lot of shade and get little sun from morning to noon and in the afteroon until sunset they are under shade.. as East to West. They grow well and grow large leaves and deep green, look healthy when they are in most of shades.
What did you keep ur brugs under full or part sun?

Mine in part sun and few of full sun it seems to me part sun work so well instead full sun.
mini.... I have one in full sun here in florida and it needs a lot of water esp when it was little now that it is about 8 of 9 feet tall Its ok I also have a lot of mulch around it also
I have some in part shade and some in full sun. I cross my fingers every year that the sun won't kill them.
I'm in zone 8a and I have a seasoned brug in LOTS of sun, but it levels off in the afternoon and it is fine. I have three 'new' brugs, common local nursery brugs, from FL, and they are in mostly shade, but still wilt, in spite of two or more waterings a day and we have had an unusually wet spring. I can only imagine what it will be like in the summer.
Mine are practically all in full sun! The ones I have in half shade seem not to flower much.
all of mine in full sun are doing great the ones i have under trees are not happy and look ill.
