If you can, go to Huntington Gardens. Norma, Crasulady2, volunteers there. It is a must. About 85 miles from where you will be. I am quite a bit south of there (170 miles or so) but there are other subscribers closer.

MSJen...when in July will you be there? Lilystorm/Tracy, Cal_Sue and I will be at the Huntington Gardens from July 8,9,10...leaving on the 11th for the Regional daylily convention. Are you into daylilies by any chance?
Also Gary Colby who has the newest daylilies is in San Diego, not too far from where you will be. Sorry I don't know how far. He has a display garden.
The wedding is July 10th. DH is coming home from Iraq on the 6th so we will have to beat feet it out there (were driving, its ONLY 2032. miles, lol).
i imagine we will spend a few days in Ojai and then meander our way back to Mississippi. We have to be back here NLT 22nd, i think.
I like daylilys, but i'm more in to vines and tropicals.
I lived in san diego as a kid and im thinking we may go back just to see it.
