Nanner Help Please...

I have a 5ft nanner tree in a pot that the wind blew over and bent the truck pretty badly...it is putting up several babies 2-3ft tall now...should I cut the top of the original tree off since it doesn't want to stand up anymore?

I would cut the mommy tree down to the level of the pups....
I use to do this with mine when I lived in Ft Worth.
However might want to wait and get the official word from one of our resident tropical experts.

I don't really see any other way to deal with it, so off it comes.lol
The pups are big enough to replace it so all should be fine.
