Rosabelle-aurea hybrid- hybridizer Herta Blin, Germany. I like the color and form of this flower as well as any double I have seen. It is extraordinary.
Monika- by chance do you know the parents of this beauty?
Also, thank you Herta Blin for so many beauties.
I have found a new favorite pink
Barbara, it is out of the same cross as Rosamond, PB or BF. Rosabelle and Rosamond have the largest flowers of the R-family.
Very pretty picture Barb. It is one I may think about getting one day when I get up the courage to thin out what I already have.
Barbara... I get a kick out of your photo titles. I think you have LOTS of favorites... HeHehe!
This is a beautiful photo.
Whew!! It is a keeper!
Poppysue, I like way to many-and have many favorites.
Bward, beautiful brug, great photo. surely a keeper. Donna
What a beauty. Once again great photo!
My favorites are what ever is blooming at the moment ;) I'm afraid I have to say... I hate brugs today! LOL!
Love that one also. Great picture. Thanks for sharing.
beautiful Barb! great picture!
I always love your black background shots Barb, they show the blooms exquisitely. I like Rosabelle too. Actually I like just about all brugs that begin with an R.
Very pretty, Barb.
Your favorite is very beautiful Barbara.
I like this one also! A great pic Barb.
To Bward,
oh what a BEAUTY.even though it is hard to not love anyone of the brugs I LOVE the pink ones the best.
Where did You buy these seeds ?
Brigitte
PS:Shirley is that the pink one You were talking about ?
Brigitte, Got the plant. Brugs do not come true from seeds.
Thanks everyone for kind words.
Liz, that was one heck of a cross that Herta Blin made-Sisters-Rosamond, Rosabella, and I think Butterfly were all from the same cross. If memory serves me, it was Rothkirch x B.x candida Ochre that made these lovely flowers.
and Rosalie and Rosalind. An outstanding cross Barb.
Liz, I don't have Rosalie and Rosalind. Do you have photos?
Brigitte, I may have talked about Rosamond. Not sure. I talk to so many people that I can't remember what I say most of the time. LOL! Rosamond, a sister to this one is a beautiful brug too. I can't wait for mine to bloom. I don't have Rosabelle.
Liz, you are so lucky!
Gosh, Rosalind is gorgeous. Any of the R babies should make us all happy. Now, how many of them are in the states now? Anyone know?
I just want a bloom. I've worked hard all day with these babies. I don't have enough room!! Things in pots dry out too fast, I don't have enough ground. I reduced my "lawn" again today to put some of them in the ground. What was I thinking?? (and I have more seeds germinating upstairs).
Oh my, sounds like Linda has the bug bad. LOL! Hope you get some beautiful blooms Linda. Anyone who works that hard to get a bloom, deserves a bunch of them instead.
Liz, how many years have you had the r's in BC? You know why I am asking. LOL I would like to get the other R's.
Rosie and Cinderella are out of the same cross.
Beautiful Barb. I have them both too. I also have Rosea that just bloomed and so far is very pale pink. Is she from the same cross?
Rosea does not belong to it.
Barbara, please excuse my ignorance (rather new to the world of brugs), but is this particular brug one that can be purchased online? I am not too very familiar with sources for these beauties -- and yours is simply stunning!
Thanks for any information provided.
Jean
That is really a pretty pink. I like it.
LSP...e-mail Barbara ....bward...and she can let you know. I am pretty sure the answer is yes!
Thank you picturelady. It has been done.
