And I love her!
My BEST brug!!
Pretty pretty pretty!!!!!!
Love it, Kell :)
Especially its shape....( but then again, I love all your brugs.)
Keep those pics coming....
It's gorgeous Kell...which one is it?
Is it Rosamond or L'Amour?
Susie, this is the tree I cut those 2 ft off each branch last month that I sent to you. Rosamond. It is huge and so are the flowers. If only if was darker.
Thanks all. It is 2 years old and incredible. It is about 14 to 16 ft tall and must be 7 ft wide at the canopy. This morning my DH was looking at it and actually said it was incredible. And he hates brugs!
Kell, that is just beautiful!! I have one that I got from Tracey . Hope it looks like yours someday! My DH hates being outdoors period LOL! He is a trucker, & when he's on the road, I never come inside the house! I love doing yard work & gardening.
HEY- What about Kell's Giant Yellow? Lets not leave out the yellow's and orange's..... LOL
Great picture. Your yard is always so lovely.
Beautiful.. I dont have one in my collecting.. Hopefully get one soon.. I hope that would look like yours someday.
I wanna be Kell when I grow up! :)
Geeze you have such beautiful Brugs.
Yes, it is Brug envy!
Keep up the good work & all the great pics.
It''s wonderful to see blooms when all I'm looking at is little starts & leaves. ahhhhh Someday!
That is one great tree. I would probably put a lawn chair under her at night and just sit there and enjoy the show.
Hope will get me some someday if anyone has extra cutting just want 2... email me!

It is beautiful Kell and with the trimming, I think the canopy is perfect. Are you growing this one in the ground or in a pot?
It is beautiful!
Frannie, this is truly a Monika tree! 2 summers ago, it grew as a sucker and I let it get very tall. I then cut it off and rooted it in a 5 gallon pot. I made holes all over the sides as Monika instructed. I then planted it in the back of where we used to have a little pond. We had filled it in. Well, it just took off last year!
Remember last June when I went back East? I got a call from Tom telling me a whole side of the first Y had just been found on the ground that morning. I accused him in my mind of major brug abuse. LOL.
Then he called me the next day in a total panic. The rest had broken off. All just below the first Y. I was not happy. I finally realized it was the weight of the top that did it and not Tom. In fact yesterday as my husband looked at this top, it is a monster, he said he wondered how long until it cracked and broke off. The top canopy is almost as tall as the single trunk.
Anyway, when I went to dig it out last fall to put it in the hoophouse, I realized it was too tall even if I cut it way back. The hoophouse had 12 ft ceiling. Too short. So I left it in the pond area and prayed. It lost all its leaves to frost but the stems stayed relatively harmfree.
I cut a couple of feet off each stem last month!
it's beautiful!
Beautiful shaped tree and flower. Looks like brugs might beable to tolerate our zone 9 winters, outdoors! Great!
Kell, it is just fabulous , also a great history story of it. Donna
She's beautiful, Kell. I think I need to move to California. All your Brugs are just beautiful.
What a beautiful frosty Kell......
You are so mean CC!! LOL
